At the opening ceremony, Will Vu for the first time announced Miss Vietnam 2014 Ky Duyen as the first main actress of the project. However, the crew has not revealed whether the beauty will take on the roles of Thi Mau, Thi Nuong or Thi Lieu - three characters that appeared on the introduction poster before.
Sharing about the new project, Will Vu said that he wants to continue to bring a new perspective on the image of women, similar to the spirit that the previous two films pursued.

According to the revealed information, the central character of the film is Thi Mau - a famous character in the Cheo play "Quan Am Thi Kinh". In folk culture, Thi Mau is remembered for her strong, bold personality and desire for love, going beyond feudal ceremonial patterns.
Although the detailed content has not been announced, the introduction "Not yet wearing the Vu Quy scarf - Thi Mau has already overturned the village communal house" makes many viewers predict that the film will have a strong folk color but still have new and modern approaches.
