Thành Lộc Dedicates His Life to the Stage
Thành Lộc was born into a family of artists, with his father being NSND Thành Tôn, his mother being the artist Huỳnh Mai, his brother Bạch Long, and his sister Bạch Lê, all of whom are well-known artists in the cải lương tradition.
He has spent many years working with the IDECAF theater troupe, and has been a key figure in bringing audiences to their productions. He later left IDECAF and established his own theater troupe, Thiên Đăng.
Throughout his career, Thành Lộc has become famous for his children's shows, particularly "Ngày xửa ngày xưa" (Once Upon a Time).
NSƯT Thành Lộc is a versatile artist who has also worked as a director, helming productions such as "Bí mật vườn Lệ Chi" and "Ngàn năm tình sử," for which he won the Mai Vàng award for Best Director in 2007 and 2009.
Thành Lộc has also appeared in films, including "Mùi ngò gai," "Chàng trai năm ấy," and "Tấm Cám: Chuyện chưa kể."
In terms of his approach to his craft, Thành Lộc says he is happy to be able to perform and connect with his audience. He considers the stage to be a sacred place, and one that he is committed to devoting his life to.
In 2024, Thành Lộc has largely stepped back from film and television work, focusing instead on theater. He recently appeared in the film "Ma da," which is set to be released on August 16.
At the age of 70, NSƯT Thành Lộc remains single and content with his life.
Hữu Châu
Hữu Châu was born into a family with a long tradition of artistic achievement.
His grandparents were the owners of the Thanh Minh theater troupe, one of the largest in Sài Gòn. His father was the artist Hữu Thìn, his mother was the artist Thanh Lệ, his sister was the late artist Thanh Nga, and his brother was the comedian Bảo Quốc. His younger brother was the late artist Hữu Lộc.
In 1985, Hữu Châu graduated from the School of Theater Arts 2 in TPHCM, alongside other notable artists such as Hữu Nghĩa, Hồng Đào, and Quang Minh.
Hữu Châu has appeared in many notable roles, including Nguyễn Trãi in "Bí mật vườn Lệ Chi," Nguyễn Lê Quốc công in "Vua thánh triều Lê," Võ Công in "Tiên Nga," and Lỗ Quý in "Lôi vũ."
He is also beloved for his comedic roles in children's shows, particularly "Ngày xửa ngày xưa."
In addition to his work on stage, Hữu Châu has also appeared in television and film, and is a familiar face to audiences through shows such as "Cô gái xấu xí," "Cá Rô," "em yêu anh!," "Tấm Cám: Chuyện chưa kể," "Cua lại vợ bầu," and "Chị trợ lý của anh."

Minh Nhí
Minh Nhí was born in 1964, and is one of the most popular actors of the 1990s in the southern theater scene.
In 1994, he co-founded the comedy troupe Ban song tấu hài with Hữu Châu. He has also appeared in films such as "Lọ Lem hè phố" and "Ra giêng ai cưới em."
Minh Nhí won the Mai Vàng award for Best Actor in 1998 and 1999, and has also taught at the University of Theater and Film in TPHCM, mentoring students such as Thúy Nga, Việt Hương, and Tiết Cương.
Minh Nhí has been involved in the arts since his time at the School of Theater Arts 2, which is now the Cao đẳng Sân khấu - Điện ảnh Thành phố Hồ Chí Minh.
With over 40 years of experience in the arts, Minh Nhí has largely stepped back from gameshows and film, focusing instead on developing his own theater troupe, Trương Hùng Minh.
In addition to his work on stage, Minh Nhí also teaches his students and has taken on a young actor as his adopted child.
