For the first time, she tried her hand at the horror film genre with the main role in the project "Tham An Am Quyet". The work was directed by Nguyen Huu Hoang - who made a splash with the film "Ma da". The film is currently in the filming stage and is expected to be released in 2026.
At the filming opening ceremony, Ngoc Trinh appeared simply in a white shirt with black dress, light makeup, and simple columns. The 8X beauty also carefully prepared gifts for each member of the group, expressing her wish that everyone would have a smooth companion during filming. In the film, she transforms into Thanh - a talented young girl but is dragged to a beauty salon in a remote place and has to face superstitious rituals and hard-working souls.

Ngoc Trinh said that after the movie "Chi dau", she received many acting invitations but carefully considered each script to learn and gain experience. When she was invited to audition for the film "The Ving years Beauty Institute", she was impressed by the new theme, horror elements combined with profound messages, and at the same time saw this as both an opportunity and an interesting challenge. The role of Thanh also requires the actress to invest in psychological acting and handle lost events in the story.
Sharing about the acting process, Ngoc Trinh admitted that she was not afraid of ghosts but still prepared carefully to feel the most natural acting emotions. Trinh tries to keep his mind comfortable, prepare mentally and coordinate with co-stars and directors to get into the role honestly, she said. To focus all on the project, Ngoc Trinh temporarily put her business activities, livestreaming and photoshoot on hold for nearly a month of filming.
