Born in 1990 in Kien Giang (now An Giang), Lien Binh Phat did not graduate from a professional art school. He studied at Ton Duc Thang University, Ho Chi Minh City.
However, his chance for art came quite surprisingly when Phat took a break from his job as a TV host. His gentle face, warm voice and flexible behavior helped him create sympathy with the audience, opening the way to acting.
The biggest turning point in Lien Binh Phat's career came in 2018 when he took on the role of Dung "Thien Loi" in the movie "Song Lang" directed by Leon Le. The role of a dry debt collector but hiding a deep inner heart helped him gain high praise from experts.
This is also the film that brought Lien Binh Phat's name out of the Vietnamese border, helping him be invited to attend international film events.
After the movie Song Lang, Lien Binh Phat continuously tried his hand at many genres. In 2019, he attracted attention when he participated in the TV series "Khong gioi thoat", transforming into an ambitious and plump doctor Minh.
The powerful transformation from the previous gentle image helped him prove his ability to play diverse roles. In the same year, he also appeared in other film projects such as "The butterfly House", "S corto story", and the sitcom " printess, where are you?", affirming the flexibility between TV series, cinema and comedy.

Not only stopping at the film industry, Lien Binh Phat is also loved by audiences through reality game shows. Most notably is the program "Running Man Vietnam - Running to wait to spend" (2019), where he became one of the "trump cards" of the team with Tran Thanh. Phat's quickness, modesty and sincerity helped him receive the nickname "little Binh" and have a large number of domestic and international fans.
Lien Binh Phat then participated in Running Man Vietnam in 2021 and 2025.
After that, he also participated and made his mark in other game shows such as: Brother Overcoming Thousands of Challenges, brave Soldier...
In the following years, Lien Binh Phat chose a cautious path, focusing on in-depth roles. He appeared in international collaboration projects such as come and Go (2021) - a Japanese film set in Osaka, and Dien Nocor (2021), depicting the image of an ambitious but lost young director.
By 2025, the main role in the film "Doc Thaong Huong" - a Vietnam - Taiwan (China) cooperation project, has brought Lien Binh Phat's name to new heights. The character of Dr. Pham Van Ninh, who is both upright and struggles between morality and survival, helped him be named at the Golden Bell Awards - one of the most prestigious awards in Asia.
From a young provincial youth who was not properly trained, Lien Binh Phat proved that talent, seriousness and passion can bring Vietnamese artists to the regional level.
