In a space full of bright spring colors, designer Nguyen Minh Cong introduced a new fashion photo set, marking an interesting shift of designs that appeared in the collection of the exhibition "Cu Lao Delta" - a project that helped him set a Vietnam Record. This time, Southern cultural imprint creations are recreated in a young version, with the companionship of Ruby Tam Nhi.
The three designs in the photo set are inspired by familiar Tet cakes such as "banh xeo", "banh re" and "mut dua". These are folk culinary icons that Nguyen Minh Cong successfully exploited on the adult fashion show.
When adapted to the younger version, the designs are not mechanically shrunk but are meticulously fine-tuned in shape, material and visual rhythm, suitable for the wearer's body, movement and emotions.

The design inspired by banh xeo impresses with a yellow and brown palette combined with green. The surface of the outfit is processed as natural patches of color, evoking the layer of banh that has just been molded and is still hot. The skirt layered with many layers of green creates an image of a cake placed on a leaf background - a familiar detail in Southern cuisine - both close and expressive.

Meanwhile, the "coconut jam" design becomes the strongest visual highlight of the photo set. The costumes are elaborately processed with rolling, twisting, and thick layering techniques, creating a multi-colored color transition effect from purple, blue, yellow to orange, pink. The overall image evokes the five-colored coconut jam of Tet - brilliant, cheerful and full of festival atmosphere, but still reasonably restrained to ensure balance and flexibility.

In the "banh re" design, Nguyen Minh Cong chooses a restrained and pure spirit. The dress is made in a pure white, milk white tone mixed with jade, with a fabric surface processing thin veins, evoking the shape of thin, crispy banh re fibers. Not based on bright colors, the design conquers viewers with sophisticated material processing techniques and flexibility in every movement, helping Ruby Tam Nhi maintain her youthful innocence.

It's a bit of a bit of a bit of a bit of a bit of a bit.
