The jury in episode 2 of the program "Tinh hoa hoi tu" includes: People's Artist Hong Van, Meritorious Artist Bach Long, Quoc Dai.
Episode 2 is the confrontation between Cai Luong artist Thy Nhung, singer Hoai Anh Kiet and singer Hoang Nguyen. In which, singer Hoai Anh Kiet is the runner-up of "Sao Noi Ngoi 2016" and is the son of artist Hoai Thanh and Do Quyen.
In his first performance, Hoai Anh Kiet chose pop music to mark his return, but the male singer revealed that he did not forget his family's cai luong roots to further develop himself.
With the medley "Where to go, Faded love", singer Hoai Anh Kiet stirred up the stage atmosphere with his captivating melody and powerful voice.
Before Hoai Anh Kiet's performance, People's Artist Hong Van commented that this performance was still too safe in the program "Tinh hoa hoi tu". The female judge hoped that the male singer could show off other talents such as acting to assert himself.
Sharing the same opinion with People's Artist Hong Van, Meritorious Artist Bach Long regrets that singer Hoai Anh Kiet is still in the "safe zone". Previously, the male judge also sat in the "hot seat" of the program "Sao noi ngoi" and witnessed Hoai Anh Kiet's captivating performances.
However, judge Hong Van advised him to show off his talents, then continue to explore his other potentials. Hong Van thought that Anh Kiet was “hiding his cards”. Therefore, the female judge also advised the male singer to immediately reveal his “secret weapon” to win over the audience.
With the medley "Where to go, Faded love", singer Hoai Anh Kiet received 9.5 points from judges Quoc Dai and Hong Van, and 9.75 points from judge Bach Long.
