Inspired by the legend of "Chiec khan Than", the musical play The Enchanted Crossbow opens up an artistic space rich in images and emotions, vividly recreating the spiritual life, culture and beliefs of the Au Lac people in an ancient historical period.
Notable in the story is the emotional love between My Chau and Trong Thuy - depicted from a daily, realistic and humane perspective, touching the hearts of viewers.
Through that, The Enchanted Crossbow conveys a message: When people know how to overcome prejudice and greed, peace will always be the highest choice.
What makes the performance special is the play performed by young people at Victoria School.
In particular, the entire play is performed entirely in English - including dialogue and songs.

I am very impressed with their professionalism, confidence and English acting ability. It is those natural, pure emotions that create a play that is both meticulous and full of emotions - Meritorious Artist Le Anh Tuyet, general director shared.
"With this project, although it is followed by the guidance of the youth theater, the main thing must be the expression of the children. I am very surprised with the acting and efforts that the students have shown in the musical, the efforts come from the tiny children and the older children.

Although the students are not professional actors or singers, today they have demonstrated the skills that a musical actor needs to have such as: Singing, dancing, acting and especially conveying emotions in each English line. Thank you to the child actors for bringing such a lovely and impressive play - singer Nguyen Tran Trung Quan shared.
Young people participating in the play also receive artistic advice from professional artists such as Meritorious Artist Chi Trung, Meritorious Artist Anh Tuyet, singer Nguyen Tran Trung Quan.
