Quy Binh's real name is Le Ngoc Binh, born in 1983 in Ho Chi Minh City. Although no one in the family is in the arts, Quy Binh showed his acting talent from a young age.
After graduating from high school, Quy Binh wanted to take an entrance exam to the University of Theatre and Cinema but was opposed by his family. He registered for military service, became a border guard stationed in Can Gio, then transferred to the Command on Cong Quynh Street (HCMC). Here, Quy Binh was persuaded by the unit to study acting.
After graduating, he was invited to play the main role in the movie The Doctor (in 2007). Since then, roles have come to him one by one. Because he did not want to violate the unit's discipline, he asked to be discharged from the army and focus on artistic activities.
