The contest ended its first season with the victory belonging to the beauty Nguyen Thi Minh Tam from Dong Thap.
Sharing at the event, artist Nguyen Dinh Phuc - Head of the organizing committee of "Miss Moon in disarray Vietnam 2025" said that this is the first time in Vietnam that there is a beauty contest dedicated to disabled women, to honor the beauty of the soul, the will to live and the stories that inspire the community positively.
According to him, the contest does not focus on physical factors but aims at humanistic values, spreading the message of confidence, courage and aspiration to rise up of people with disabilities.
The biggest difference of Miss Moonfect Vietnam compared to other beauty pageants is the admission conditions. The contest is for female Vietnamese citizens with partial disabilities, aged 18 to 45.
After the preliminary round in the Northern and Southern regions, the organizing committee selected 21 excellent candidates to enter the final round, competing to find the owner of the noble crown.

Due to the health characteristics of the contestants who are disabled, the organizing committee decided to shorten the competitions. In the final night, the top 21 went through Ao Dai, evening gown performances and behavioral competitions.
The jury includes many prestigious faces such as Mrs Asean International Global 2024 Kieu Vu, Mister National Universe 2022 Viet Hoang, musician Nguyen Van Chung, speaker Nguyen Son Lam, non-legged swimmer Nguyen Hong Loi, charity ambassador Luu The Truyen and businessman Hoang Thanh Nga.
After the competitions, the judges selected the top 3 including Nguyen Thi Minh Tam (Dong Thap), Ha Thi Nhu Quynh (Hanoi) and Nguyen Thi Hai (HCMC) to enter the round.
With a convincing answer, clearly demonstrating her depth of knowledge and positive spirit, Nguyen Thi Minh Tam conquered the jury and was officially crowned "Miss Moon of the Weak Vietnam" 2025. The first and second runner-up titles respectively belonged to Ha Thi Nhu Quynh and Nguyen Thi Hai. In addition, the organizing committee also awarded many secondary awards to recognize the efforts and unique marks of the contestants.
The crown for the new Miss was inspired by a moon stone lying deep at the bottom of the sea. The Grand Finale stage is designed in a magical and mysterious space but full of vitality, symbolizing the journey to overcome adversity, self-heal and shine of the Vietnamese disabled community.
Nguyen Thi Minh Tam was born in 1986, from Dong Thap, currently a teacher at Thien Ho Duong High School for the Gifted (Cao Lanh Ward, Dong Thap Province). After a traffic accident in 2009 that caused her to lose her left leg, Minh Tam constantly strives to rise up, continue teaching and actively participate in charity activities. In 2015, she established the Nhat Tam Charity Group, supporting those in difficult circumstances, especially people with disabilities.
