In episode 3 of the reality TV show Miss Vietnam Ethnic Tourism 2025, contestants are divided into groups to enter the cooking challenge with 10 chefs of 10 famous restaurants.
In this episode, contestants visited famous restaurants, met famous chefs to explore the flavors, space and culinary quintessence of the highlands.
After dividing into groups, the 30 contestants were introduced by chefs about the meaning and characteristics of each dish, before cooking a dish with strong Northwest identity.
This challenge not only helps contestants gain a deeper understanding of cuisine - an important factor attracting tourists - but also contributes to spreading the spirit of green and sustainable tourism of Moc Chau - Son La. At the same time, this is also an opportunity for contestants to demonstrate their ingenuity, sophistication and courage - typical qualities of Vietnamese women.
In episode 3, the contestants also transformed into beautiful Thai girls, participating in community tourism activities with local people.
Through these activities, contestants not only have a deeper understanding of Moc Chau's unique cultural values but also learn how to exploit and promote the beauty of tourism development.
Previously, in episode 1, the contestants explored Ban Vat (Muong Sang commune) - a highlight of Moc Chau community tourism. They visited Van Pagoda, Dai Yem Waterfall and experienced brocade weaving and herbal medicine with the people.
In episode 2, the journey continues with interesting experiences such as picking sweet soup on the tea buds, conquering glass bridges, riding horses, driving in a clash, climbing ropes, sliding buoys... These are both dramatic challenges that contribute to the lively promotion of Moc Chau's typical tourism products.
Accompanying the Top 30 in the experiential activities was the Jury including: People's Artist Lan Huong - Head of the Jury, Doctor of Humanities Vu Thi Thu Huong and journalist Ngo Ba Luc.
Master Dam Huong Thuy - President of SMT Academy, Head of the Organizing Committee of the contest - shared: "Through experiential activities, the judges will have the most realistic and comprehensive assessments to select faces that gather enough beauty, intelligence and courage.
We are not only looking for beautiful girls in form, but also looking forward to discovering cultural - tourism ambassadors who can spread the beauty of the country, people and culture of Vietnam to international friends.
Miss Vietnam Ethnic Tourism 2025 is the first contest held to honor the beauty, intelligence and bravery of women of 54 ethnic groups in Vietnam, in the harmony between tradition and modernity.
The contest aims to promote cultural values, tourism and national identity to international friends, while spreading the spirit of solidarity, national pride and the desire to integrate of the younger generation.
The activities and the final round of the contest all took place in Moc Chau, Son La. The final night is expected to be held in mid-November 2025.
