Spooky in love" is a television version remade from the movie "Spellbound" (2011), revolving around the love story between a hotel heir who can see ghosts and a passionate but extremely afraid of ghosts prosecutor.
In the work, Park Eun Bin plays Cheon Yeo Ri - CEO of a luxury hotel, possessing beauty, talent and a life that many admire. However, she hides the secret that she can see ghosts, and anyone who touches her will have similar abilities.
Sharing about the reason for accepting to participate in the project, Park Eun Bin said she was attracted by the contrast in the character's personality: "The perfect appearance of a female CEO and the real person she has to hide create a great attraction. I want to show the journey of a person who always tries to live normally even when circumstances do not allow it.
To portray the character, Park Eun Bin focused on creating a contrast between a strong image in front of the public and emotional everyday moments: "The first episodes will show an almost perfect Cheon Yeo Ri. But when she is alone, she is very ordinary, with more flaws. I want the audience to feel that difference.
A special detail of the character is the gloves that always appear in most scenes. According to Park Eun Bin, the crew has changed many different styles to suit each outfit but still keeps this as Cheon Yeo Ri's identifying feature.
The actress also believes that the most attractive point of the film lies in the process of changing the characters: "I hope the audience will enjoy watching how the characters gradually change after meeting, clashing and influencing each other.
