The producer of the film "Sister-in-law" informed that this work has earned 34 billion VND after 4 days of official release. However, by the afternoon of December 24, the film had increased its revenue by nearly 40 billion, ranking number 1 at the Vietnamese box office.
Ticket sales have been steadily increasing over the past weekend, and on December 23, despite being the beginning of the week, there was no drop. On average, the film attracted 100,000 moviegoers to the theaters each day, with about 500,000 tickets sold in the 100 hours since its release.
The number of screenings of the film was also boosted, increasing 60% from 2,300 on the first day to 4,000 on Sunday.
Right from the first days of its release, the film directed by Khuong Ngoc, gathered the cast: Viet Huong, Hong Dao, Le Khanh, Dinh Y Nhung, Ngoc Trinh... telling the story of a sister-in-law and four sisters-in-law on the background of a death anniversary in the West.
