The Vietnamese animated film Trang Quynh Nhi: Legend of the Golden Eagle is for all ages, inspired by the legend of the Golden buffalo in West Lake.
The official poster and trailer have just been released, revealing the adventure of the boy Quynh (main character) and his friends in the journey to unquestioning their parents and confronting the Nine Wills.
The highlight of the trailer is the cruel image of the Nine -Tails, threatening peace. The film scenario combines two folk stories: Huyen Tich Golden Buffalo in West Lake and Tich Tich Tuu Pagoda, along with legend Lac Long Quan, Au Co in "Linh Nam Chich Monster".
This is a creative combination of plot. The film expresses the director's thinking; the director has preserved and revived the Vietnamese folk spirit in a new form: Myth, epics through modern cinema language.
The main plot revolves around the journey of Quynh's group to destroy Jiuzhaigou. Quynh's parents were accused of stealing precious jewelry and were chased, but Quynh escaped thanks to friends. While trying to make a known, Quynh discovers a plot of evil forces wanting to take advantage of the power of the Nine Wills.
Trang Quynh Nhi: Legend of the Golden Eagle is the first commercial 3D animated film shown in theaters by director Trinh Lam Tung, produced by Alpha animation Studio and released by Galaxy Studio.
The film will officially premiere on May 30, 2025.
