On the evening of July 11, in Ho Chi Minh City, Sao Concert - The Stardom Journey: Trạm sao 2 took place at Phu Tho Gymnasium with the participation of Quang Hung MasterD, Duong Domic, MONO, Captain Boy, JEY B, Grey D, Vuong Binh and two guests Phung Khanh Linh and Orange. The program attracted more than 6,000 spectators, continuing the success of Trạm Sao 1.
With the theme "Unlimited - Limitless", the concert is built as a journey to explore five "planets" of music and a Limitless Station, where each artist represents their own color. The new feature of the program is the 360-degree Limitless Stage stage, combining a lift table, a multi-direction catwalk system and lighting effects designed specifically for each performance.
The opening music night with Fire Planet by JEY B and Captain Boy, followed by Earth Planet and MONO. Grey D and Vuong Binh brought the audience to Forest Planet with emotional remixes, before Duong Domic and Quang Hung MasterD successively closed their journey at Metal Planet and Water Planet.
Besides individual performances, unexpected combinations became the highlight of the program. Captain Boy and JEY B duetted "Giá mà anh" for the first time with a new liveband arrangement. Meanwhile, Vuong Binh and Phung Khanh Linh brought the first live performance of "Eastern City", receiving a lot of response from the audience.
One of the most emotional performances was the harmony of Grey D, Vuong Binh, Phung Khanh Linh and Orange through the song "Co hen voi thanh xuan". The new remix and the combination of four voices created a contemplative space in the music night.
In particular, Vuong Binh had a birthday right during the concert. Grey D, Phung Khanh Linh, Orange and musician Huy Tuan suddenly brought a birthday cake to the stage, while more than 6,000 spectators simultaneously sang to celebrate the male singer's birthday. The simple but touching moment became one of the most memorable milestones of the night's performance.
Closing the program was the encore part with the song "Thank you love", gathering Quang Hung MasterD, Duong Domic, Captain Boy, JEY B, Grey D, Vuong Binh, Phung Khanh Linh and Orange. The image of eight artists harmonizing is considered a thank you to the audience after nearly 5 hours of accompanying.
Right in the show night, the organizers also confirmed that Sao Concert - Trạm sao 3 is expected to return on October 3rd at Phu Tho Gymnasium.
