The movie teaser opens with a poetic blue sea and white sand scene, where the character Quynh (Quynh Thy) enjoys happy days with Toan (Quoc Truong). Romantic space, sunshine and sea breeze contribute to depicting a passionate love, where Quynh believes that "love is regardless of everything". However, the appearance of Bao - a young man of only 18 years old - has caused that seemingly perfect relationship to begin to crack.
The character Bao has a complex color as he is both an outsider and a person caught up in a haunting love affair. The unrequited, impulsive but intense feelings of youth make Bao gradually step over the boundary, creeping into the private lives of Quynh and Toan. Conflicts and inner conflicts are revealed through argument scenes, eyes filled with uất, heralding a long-lasting love tragedy.
The noteworthy point of the teaser is how the story is told across the timeline, when the character Bao in the present (played by Quoc Huy) still carries the obsessions from his first love. This shows that the film does not just stop at a simple love story, but also a journey of maturity, facing the past and seeking salvation.
Director Nguyen Xuan Nghia - who has more than 20 years of experience in the medical industry - marked a shift to cinema with his debut work. With a perspective rich in life experience, he chose to exploit the very real emotions of people when facing love, mistakes and choices. The film therefore has a nostalgic color, mixed with the ferocity of youthful emotions.
Besides the main cast, the film also features the participation of famous artists such as Thanh Loc and Le Khanh, contributing to the acting guarantee.
The movie is scheduled to premiere on May 15, 2026.
