The movie The Lower River War continued to make a strong impression when it held the top 2 position on the social media discussion rankings in the second week of November. As of November 17, the film has surpassed 180 million views on VieON, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok and Zalo Video platforms.
The setting of episodes 7 and 8 puts Mr. Sang's family (played by Thai Hoa) in a new challenge when facing the risk of losing their home. After 10 years of separation, his ex-wife, Ms. Huyen (played by Phuc An), returned, causing her daughter Nhi (played by Trinh Thao) to move to live with her mother because she was afraid that her father would put more burden on her. Before they could cool down their separation emotions, the family faced an offer to leave the land with a compensation of 100 million VND for not being able to prove their ownership.
