Inspired by the "four" of the pick-up-and-Sellters - a classic short story by writer Kim Lan, the film The Lower River War explores the life of a family of three generations in the heart of a modern city. When faced with the risk of losing their only home, each member is forced to find a way to protect their home with all the tragic tricks, thereby revealing deep secrets and conflicts.
Screenwriter Nhi Bui said that he did not renew his pick-up wife, but only borrowed the "four" to create new material: "I used the idea of "pick-up" to deploy the story in a modern context, reflecting the connection between people - not only through blood, but also through love and trust in each other."
The film's main poster impressed with the image of a big family hugging each other in the middle of a dilapidated house, the eyes filled with anxiety. In the center, Thai Hoa (as Mr. Sang) and Le Phuong (as Ms. Be Gai) became spiritual pillars, but were also the ones who suffered the most. The old silver metallic film is in contrast to the blue sky, symbolizing harshness and hope, along with the tagline "When touching the bottom... they can only look up" - symbolizing the determination of the small people.
In contrast to the gloomy atmosphere of real films, the teaser has a humorous, "very real" tone. In a patchwork house "eating illegally and going in is depression", the character of Mr. Sang still maintains an optimistic spirit, spreading positive energy through witty lines.
Reuniting after 10 years, Thai Hoa gave many compliments to her co-star: "Phuong still maintains her freshness in her career, acting is very good. Each emotional scene is complete.
