The contest night was attended by representatives of the organizing committee and judges including People's Artist Vuong Duy Bien, Miss Doan Thien An, actor Quoc Truong, Miss Nguyen Cao Ky Duyen, Miss Huong Giang, actor - singer Nhat Kim Anh, Miss Le Hoang Phuong and businessman Cao Thi Hoan.
Opening the main competition, 30 contestants performed evening gowns and then appeared one by one, shouting their names and performing individually. Through the competition, the judges evaluated the catwalk skills, demeanor, stage presence as well as the way each person handled their costumes.
After the evening gown competition, the contestants returned to the stage in swimsuits designed by designer Ivan Tran. The organizers also announced the names, registration numbers, representative units, height and body measurements of each beauty.
The swimsuit performance is the basis for the professional council to monitor the physique, movement skills and stage control ability of the Top 30. Previously, the contestants participated in the Best in Swimsuit round on July 23.
The next highlight of the program is the The Grand National Costume competition. Defending Miss Grand Vietnam Nguyen Thi Yen Nhi opened with a "Thang Long Hoi" design by Nguyen Huy Hoang. The outfit once won the first prize in the 2025 season and was brought by Yen Nhi to Miss Grand International in the same year.
After the opening performance, 30 designs from three teams of mentors Ivan Tran, Dang Trong Minh Chau and Song Toan were introduced one by one.
The beauty queen and runner-up team includes Huynh Thi Thanh Thuy, Tran Tieu Vy, Huynh Tran Y Nhi, Huynh Minh Kien, Le Thu Tra, Nguyen Thu Ngan, Dinh Y Quyen, La Ngoc Phuong Anh and Miss Grand Vietnam 2026 contestants taking on the role of performer.
The works exploit materials from culture, history, life and Vietnamese identity. Some designs have large structures, using many moving details, requiring performers to control costumes and handle the stage flexibly.
The design is evaluated based on ideas, aesthetics, performance ability and the level of theme expression. Selected works can continue to be revised and completed to serve post-contest activities.
After the semi-finals, the Top 30 enters the final preparation stage for the final night of Miss Grand Vietnam 2026. The categories Most Favorite Beauty, Best in Swimsuit and Most Favorite National Culture Costume are still open for voting.
