On the afternoon of November 22, photographer Hoang Thi Bich Thao collaborated with Noirfoto to introduce an art photography exhibition with the theme "Source of Life".
Inspired by the symbolism of the sun, the photographic series "Source of Life" offers a unique perspective on the sun's ever-changing journey.
The series connects viewers with their own personal experiences of encountering the sun in its brilliant and magical moments.
Ms. Hoang Thi Bich Thao, the author of the photos, said that she took nearly 10,000 photos of the sun over a long period of time and selected more than 50 of them to display in the exhibition.
Almost all of the works were taken with phones, including some taken with an iPhone 7.
“The sun is beautiful at any time, very bright. The brilliance of the sun gives me abundant energy and creates strong emotions in me.
I feel very lucky with the sun. Every time I hold the camera, I am very lucky to often catch rare and special moments of the sun to get beautiful photos," Ms. Thao shared about her creative inspiration.
The “Source of Life” exhibition features 50 works finished to museum standards with a durability of over 100 years. All works use Fine Art Smooth Pearl paper with a slight reflection, helping to highlight the shimmering beauty of the sun while still maintaining the softness of each line.
The photos are framed in natural oak, with frosted glass overlay, creating a gentle space where light is presented as softly as the breath of a new day.
The exhibition will open on November 24 for invited guests and welcome free visitors from November 25 to December 1 at An Phu Building, 43-45 Thao Dien, Thao Dien Ward, Thu Duc City, Ho Chi Minh City.
Photographer Hoang Thi Bich Thao will sell her works to serve social and charity activities.
