The film "Behind the Death" is about Nguyen Hung Cuong (Hai Nam), a famous detective writer nicknamed Cracker. He accidentally got into a car accident and after waking up, Cuong's life was completely turned upside down.
He suddenly has the ability to see and understand the ghosts' signals, and is even influenced by them, causing a lot of trouble, many tragicomic situations, both funny and sad, or making others misunderstand.
Because of that, one time, Cuong unintentionally became the "makeup artist" for a victim in a murder case. Then, by chance, Cuong became a corpse makeup artist and a hospital morgue worker.
Always devoted to her job, regardless of danger, Hoang Cam Linh (Cao Thai Ha) is considered the "star" of the serious crime investigation department, promoted beyond her rank because of her excellent academic achievements and crime solving.
After meeting and going through many cases together, Cuong and Linh become the perfect crime-solving couple.
At first, the cases that Linh and Cuong solved seemed to be isolated cases, and the perpetrators were all arrested. But being smart and perceptive, Linh gradually realized that they were related.
When the final case was solved, facing the "final boss" Mr. Duong (Khuong Thinh) with his own eyes, Linh realized that the one who orchestrated and arranged all those murders was his biological father, to take revenge on the people who had the heartlessness to cause the tragic death of his wife years ago.
All the victims of the previous cases were directly or indirectly related to her family tragedy.
The movie "Behind Death" will air at 7:45 p.m. every day from October 1, 2024 on SCTV14.
