Truong Ngoc Anh and her production company have been selected by two executive producers Sir Daniel K. Winn and Randall J. Slavin of WS Production (USA) to become the production partners in Vietnam for a special film project called “Dragonfly”, marking her return to film.
This is also a premise project, the beginning of a series of upcoming film works by Truong Ngoc Anh and her partners.
As someone with a lot of experience in the production field, having made her mark with Vietnamese and international films such as Ao lua Ha Dong, Huong ga, Abduction, City of Crows…, Truong Ngoc Anh and the production team of “Dragonfly” are expected to bring the audience a quality film with an engaging and emotional plot.
Truong Ngoc Anh shared: "I feel very excited and proud to welcome international colleagues to Vietnam. This is an interesting and challenging project, but I believe that with the efforts, passion and talent of the entire crew, we will complete it and look forward to the film being released in the US, Vietnam and other countries around the world."
“Dragonfly” is directed by Jordan Schulz. Jordan is a talented director and cinematographer with nearly 15 years of experience and has participated in many film projects with different roles such as Now You See Me 2, Patriots Day, and Power Rangers as well as series for Amazon, Disney Home Entertainment and DreamWorks Animation TV.
The crew of “Dragonfly” is currently in the pre-production stage for the segments filmed in Vietnam, such as surveying locations, finding sets, designing costumes and props, and planning detailed scenes. During this business trip, director Jordan and the crew will organize casting for several important roles.
