The album name The Voice Timeless shows the parallelism between Tung Duongs singing voice and timeless songs. After a series of experimental projects such as Human, Multiverse, the male singer returned with a sophisticated, tu nhien singing style, honoring the beauty of lyrics and melodies. He said that this was the most mature stage in his voice, enough experience to "come from the show to the minimalist stage", singing with emotion and contemplation.
The album includes 8 familiar songs such as Lonely (Lam Phuong), Lonely (Nguyen Anh 9), Ngam ngoi (Pham Duy - Huy Can), Rieng mot goc troi (Ngo Thuy Mien), Dau chan dia dang va Ru ta ngo ngoi (Trinh Cong Son)... These are all songs that fans have requested for many years, now being recorded with new emotions and techniques.
Under the hands of music director Hong Kien, The Voice Timeless brings a space rich in nuances: from semi-classical, improvised jazz to modern soul flavor. The album brings together a group of leading musicians and artists such as Thanh Vuong (piano), Trinh Minh Hien (violine), Doan Viet Dung (guitar), Hoang Hai Bang (bass), Trung Dong (trumpet), and the Saigon Strings strings. The mix and master part was sung by musician Thanh Phuong.
