In recent days, the movie Flip Side 8: Sun Hands by director Ly Hai has caused a fever at the Vietnamese box office with consecutive revenue recording a series of records. Among the cast, TikToker Le Tuan Khang is one of the names that received a lot of attention from the audience.
In the movie Flip Side 8, Le Tuan Khang plays Khang - a young man who has just graduated from the University of Science and Technology with a mechanical engineering major, driving a motorbike taxi while waiting to get a job. TikToker had many funny scenes when helping Mr. Phuoc (Long Dep Trai) from his hometown go to the South to support his son - Tam (Doan The Vinh) to sing.
Sharing about the character, Le Tuan Khang admitted that he and Khang " motorbike taxi drivers" have many similarities, such as both coming from poor families, after a period of traveling in the city and returning to their hometown because they could not find a job.
And being able to participate in the film Flip Side 8 was a memorable experience for him. In his first appearance on the big screen, in addition to working with idol Ly Hai, the male TikToker wanted to learn, before thinking about a long way to go with acting, finding opportunities to act in films.
It is worth mentioning that although he has never studied acting, the male TikToker has made a lot of effort to complete the role. Because he was a guest actor, Le Tuan Khang only filmed a few scenes. Initially, despite being mentally prepared, the male TikToker was still "arnhited", nervous, and had shaky limbs when standing in front of the camera. Luckily, with the support, guidance, and encouragement of director Ly Hai and his crew, Le Tuan Khang gradually became more confident.
"Mr. Ly Hai is very gentle and professional. When he acted wrongly, he would encourage and never scold anyone. For me, Hai always closely follows each performance, guiding until I do well.
My weakness is my fear of large camera lenses and crowds. On the first day of filming, seeing the whole crew of more than a hundred people, I was really nervous. Luckily, in the group, the brothers and sisters were very friendly and always encouraged me.
In particular, Long Dep Trai was always by his side to reassure my spirit and guide me on how to act so that I could complete well. In director Ly Hai's film crew, there is no distinction between the main role, supporting role or guest role, everyone is given the same attention" - Le Tuan Khang confided.
