The inauguration program of the library on November 6 was attended by the Hope Foundation, the Vietnam - America Association, the Hanoi Club of Former Vietnamese International Students in the US (VUSAC), US Ambassador to Vietnam Marc E. Knapper, Miss Jennifer Pham - Ambassador of the Hope School Light Program and sponsors.
The library started construction in May, with an area of nearly 200 m2, with many glass doors for lighting, along with a system of shelves, tables and chairs, encouraging students to develop the habit of reading and self-study skills.
In addition to the library project, sponsors also invested in electronic library equipment, including 30 tablets, headphones and online learning accounts on the Vuihoc platform, helping nearly 400 students of Tan Trao Secondary School conveniently learn about online knowledge.

Mr. Duong Minh Tuan - Chairman of Tan Trao Commune People's Committee shared: "This project is not only a place to contain books, but also a space to sow intellectual seeds, nurture personality, and give wings to dreams for the young generation of Tan Trao. I believe that, from the pages of books here, students will find knowledge, faith and aspiration to rise up, so that each dream today becomes a reality tomorrow".
Ms. Nguyen Thi Le Thao, Principal of Tan Trao Secondary School, said that the school was built 30 years ago but only a small room was used as a place to store books. The number of books is still limited, mainly old textbooks, some reference books and documents contributed by teachers, not fully meeting the learning and research needs of students. Due to lack of space, students' time to use the library is also limited.
Representing the sponsoring units, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Thao - Vice President of the Hanoi Club of Former Vietnamese International Students in the US (VUSAC) said that she was born and raised in the old Ha Giang, now Tuyen Quang. Receiving a scholarship, she went to Hanoi to study and then had the opportunity to study in the US, work abroad and Vietnam.
Students can start their journey from the library, the beginning of knowledge and hope, Ms. Thao told students of Tan Trao Secondary School.
The new library project was built on a land known as the "cradle of the Vietnamese revolution" - not only associated with the national's important milestones but also a place to nurture many generations of studious students. This is also a testament to the friendly relationship between the people of Vietnam and the US.

On the occasion of the inauguration, Trang Nguyen Education presented two sets of history - geography books of Trang Nguyen, two computers and 10 Trang Nguyen Math scholarships, worth more than 77 million VND, to encourage the learning spirit of students here.
Chi Viet My Magazine & NKG New Technology and Knowledge integration Joint Stock Company donated 5 sets of tablets with electronic textbooks, worth 25 million VND, to Tan Trao Secondary School. The Association for the Promotion of Education sponsored 3 million VND for the school to buy books and equipment for the new library.
On this occasion, the Vietnam-USA Association and ITS International Information Technology Solutions Joint Stock Company also sent meaningful gifts to the Tuyen Quang Provincial Association for the Promotion of Education, including 2,000 lifetime free accounts to access a digital data warehouse including 2,500 books with many different topics on the national digital platform reavol, with a total sponsorship value of 500 million VND.
