On July 26, the Vi Xuyen Commune Party Committee (Tuyen Quang Province) held the 1st Congress of Delegates for the 2025 - 2030 term. The Congress was attended by General Trinh Van Quyet - Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Standing Member of the Central Military Commission, Director of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army; Secretary of the Tuyen Quang Provincial Party Committee Hau A Lenh, and 191 delegates representing the Vi Xuyen Commune Party Committee.
Speaking at the opening of the Congress, Secretary of the Vi Xuyen Commune Party Committee Dinh The Manh affirmed that Vi Xuyen will enter the implementation of the task of economic and social development in the next 5 years with the aspiration to rise up, determined to innovate thinking, develop quickly and sustainably.
The Congress determined the general goal for the coming term to maintain solidarity, unity, and build a clean, strong, and comprehensive Party and political system. Continue to improve the operational efficiency of agencies and organizations in conjunction with building a team of qualified, capable and prestigious cadres, civil servants and public employees.
Promote economic development associated with preserving and promoting traditional cultural values of ethnic groups; ensure national defense and security.
Some important goals by 2030 are: Striving to achieve a total product value of more than 1,480 billion VND; state budget revenue of 12 billion VND; average income per capita of more than 60 million VND/year; 100% of rural transport routes are hardened; the poverty rate decreases to below 1%; the annual party membership rate reaches 3% or more.
Speaking at the Congress, General Trinh Van Quyet praised and highly appreciated the achievements of the Party Committee, government and people of Vi Xuyen commune in the past term.
General Trinh Van Quyet suggested that Vi Xuyen needs to promote revolutionary traditions and continue to make efforts to complete the goals and plans for the 2025-2030 term. The commune needs to affirm its role in the new development space. In particular, it is necessary to overcome difficulties, promote strengths, and take advantage of all potentials and opportunities for development.
