In the days leading up to Tet, when everyone is busy arranging work and returning to their families, members of the Nghe An Student Volunteer Team at the Academy of Journalism and Propaganda (Nghe An Student Volunteer Team at AJC) have temporarily put aside personal plans to carry out a charity trip to Yen Thang Ethnic Minority Boarding Primary School (Yen Hoa commune, Nghe An province). This is a school point with many difficulties in western Nghe An.
Traveling a long distance to the highland school point, young people want to contribute more practical support, helping teachers and students here have better teaching and learning conditions.

From early morning on the day before Tet, the schoolyard was bustling as gifts were transported and arranged neatly. Practical items such as warm scarves, backpacks, blackboards, blankets - mats, solar light bulbs were successively handed over to students.
Accompanying the program, Mr. Dang Thai Anh - Representative of D&C Foundation Construction Joint Stock Company also sent 30 scholarships, contributing more encouragement to the children on their journey to class.
Through these gifts, I and young people hope to encourage the will to rise up of young children in their studies, so that in the future, they can create a brighter future for themselves," Mr. Dang Thai Anh shared.
In addition to gift-giving activities, students also organized art performances and collective games, creating a close atmosphere, helping the distance to be quickly erased. In the chilly weather of the mountains, the laughter of students makes the schoolyard more bustling than usual.

In the days of preparing to enter the new year, everyone wanted to go home early to help their families, but when I saw the smiles of the children, I felt that the decision to start the charity trip was completely right.
Although the school point is located in a remote area, leading to a very difficult gift transportation process, our team is really proud to have overcome all obstacles together to create joy for the children," shared Nguyen Ngoc - member of the Organizing Committee.
On behalf of the school, Mr. Phan Trong Hoan - Vice Principal of Yen Thang Ethnic Minority Boarding Primary School sent his thanks to philanthropists and the Nghe An SVTN Team at AJC. Mr. Hoan affirmed that the understanding and enthusiasm of the delegation helped teachers and students of Yen Thang Ethnic Minority Boarding Primary School have a warmer Tet with gifts that go far beyond material value.
The gifts not only support more living and studying conditions but also show timely concern for highland students. From specific actions, the trip contributes to nurturing the spirit of sharing in the community and adding motivation for them to be more steadfast on the path of learning.
