Artists Hong Sap and Bobo Hoang were moved when receiving meaningful gifts. Both are old, their health is declining, and their lives depend on support or seasonal work. Some people have to undergo long-term treatment, and some live on family or colleagues' help. However, they still maintain an optimistic spirit and love for the acting profession.
Talking to reporters on February 9, People's Artist Trinh Kim Chi shared that many backstage artists, from makeup, costumes to techniques, once contributed to creating stage lights, but now face difficulties due to old age and precarious income. Therefore, Tet care activities not only bring material value but also recognize their silent contributions.
Meanwhile, when talking to reporters, artist Hong Sap said that for the past year she has still maintained her backstage job, supporting colleagues to change costumes for performances.
Although her work is not regular, it is still enough to cover her difficult life. Artist Hong Sap added that she hopes to have more new films to act in, increasing her income. In 2025, she will only participate in a few small films with few scenes.
Regarding health, artist Hong Sap said that at the age of 89 she is still healthy but suffers from many old age diseases. However, she still maintains an optimistic spirit.
Meanwhile, artist Bo Bo Hoang, in her U80s, still maintains her passionate job of making costumes. However, the number is no longer much. The female artist dedicated her whole life to the stage, backstage. Although her health has somewhat declined, she still maintains her passion for the profession.
