On July 10, the Hue Department of Tourism in collaboration with the Vietnam Aviation Academy held a signing ceremony of a memorandum of understanding for cooperation for the 2025-2030 period, marking a new step forward in strengthening the linkage between the tourism and aviation sectors.
According to Ms. Tran Thi Hoai Tram - Director of Hue City Department of Tourism, with the orientation of developing tourism to become a spearhead economic sector, Hue is focusing on promoting infrastructure investment, applying digital technology to tourism products, improving service quality and actively expanding cooperation to promote the local image to domestic and foreign tourists.
This signing ceremony not only marks the strong connection between the two units but also clearly demonstrates the strategic vision on the important role of developing high-quality human resources, a key factor for the long-term and professional development of both sectors: tourism and aviation.
Ms. Tram affirmed that the Hue Department of Tourism will closely accompany and maintain long-term and effective cooperation with the Vietnam Aviation Academy. The two sides will make the most of the available potential to implement substantive cooperation programs, contributing to raising the level of Hue tourism industry in both scale and quality, commensurate with the potential of the ancient capital.
The cooperation between the two sides includes recruitment and development of personnel; organization of internship and sightseeing programs in Hue; coordination of scientific research in the fields of aviation and tourism. In addition, the two units will also support each other in image promotion and communication, based on existing functions and infrastructure.
Within the framework of the agreement, the Hue City Tourism Department will create conditions for delegations of the Aviation Academy to visit, practice, or organize seminars and thematic conferences in the locality.
At the same time, the Department of Tourism will also be allowed to access and use a number of services at the Aviation Academy of Vietnam, creating favorable conditions for the coordination of professional activities in the future.
