Military Hospital 175 organized a charity fair with the theme "Sowing love - Welcoming a warm Tet" on January 15 and 16, 2025, bringing a meaningful spring to those being treated at the hospital.
In the hospital grounds, a Tet promotion booth was opened with Tet products such as banh chung, pickled onions, rice, MSG and many other necessities, all of which were 50% off. Ms. Pham Thi Ngoc Huong, a patient from Binh Thuan, shared: “Having raised a 41-year-old daughter with cerebral palsy alone, I no longer have time to prepare for Tet. When I learned about the charity booth, I felt really warm. Just a few banh chung and pickled onions made me feel that Tet was so close and full of love.”
The program has given away 500 Tet gifts worth 1 million VND each, including food and Tet items, to patients and medical staff in difficult circumstances. These gifts are not only material, but also a great source of spiritual encouragement, helping them to ease their worries during Tet.
Ms. Pham Thi Hong, also a patient treated at the hospital, happily shared: “This year’s Tet is really different, my family has enough rice, cakes, MSG, fish sauce... Thanks to the help from the hospital and benefactors. Thank you to the doctors, thank you to those who helped my mother and I have a complete Tet.”
In addition to volunteer activities, the program also offers art performances and traditional folk games, helping participants to be more excited to welcome the new year.
