As part of the 2024 Kite Award series of the Vietnam Cinema Association, on the morning of September 10, many artists participated in charity activities to give gifts at SOS Children's Village Nha Trang and the Social Protection Center of Khanh Hoa province.
At the Khanh Hoa Provincial Social Protection Center, the delegation presented 71 gifts, worth 30 million VND, to disadvantaged cases at the center.
Especially at SOS Children's Village Nha Trang, artists celebrated Mid-Autumn Festival with the children.
Besides the Mid-Autumn Festival tray prepared by the artists, including cakes, fruits, etc., there were lion dance performances and full moon festival performances by the children of SOS Children's Village Nha Trang.
The artists also donated necessities to 11 houses in the Village, and personal gifts to 123 children being cared for by the Village. The donors also awarded 25 scholarships worth 50 million VND to the village’s students. The total value of the gifts was 150 million VND.
The 2024 Kite Award season has 163 works competing for awards, with 18 movies, 18 TV series, 41 documentaries, 18 scientific films, 14 animated films, 50 short films and 4 research and critical theory works.
This is the third year the Golden Kite Award ceremony has been held in Nha Trang city - Khanh Hoa and the second time it has been held at That Theater.
New in the 2024 season is the addition of the categories of Favorite Movie Actor/Actress and Favorite TV Actor/Actress voted by the audience on TikTok.
The red carpet program and the Golden Kite Award Ceremony will take place from 5:00 p.m. on September 10 at the That Theater Square (Libera Nha Trang).
With the theme “Passion to Shine”, this year’s award ceremony will have the participation of more than 1,000 domestic and international delegates, artists, and actors from the US, Korea, India, Azerbaijan, etc.
