The introduction video of the second confirmed member of The Black Label's upcoming girl group MEOVV after Ella caught the audience's attention.
The video comes with the message: "If I had to choose between the two, I already know my answer."
Gawon (Chloe Lee) is Korean-American, born in 2005. She interned at YG for about 2-3 years, left around 2021 and joined The Black Label. Chloe Lee is a child model who appeared in an Adidas campaign.
Previously, the company also announced that member Ella was the first to be introduced to the public.
Previously, right after The Black Label officially announced the launch of the new girl group MEOVV in the second half of 2024, many predicted information about the group and its members began to attract audience attention.
According to Korean media, the girl group consists of 5 members, including 4 overseas Koreans and 1 domestic Korean.
Famous trainees of The Black Label are Ella Gross (Korean-German American), Bailey Sok (Korean American) and Chloe Lee (Korean American) who may be three of the four Korean members in foreign. Thus, Ella was the first to be announced.
MEOVV (pronounced mee-ya-oh in Korean), launched its official SNS (social media platform launch) on August 16 KST, and revealed the group's name and logo.
In the group's moving logo is a cat's paw decorated with sparkling accessories. The logo's attraction is its sharp claws, alluding to MEOVV's adorable but dangerous personality.
In another motion trailer posted by The Black Label on this day, five black cats sit atop the company's building, possibly alluding to the five-member lineup.
MEOVV, trained by The Black Label's Teddy, will launch sometime in the second half of 2024.
Previously, Rosé (Blackpink) joined producer Teddy's company after separating from YG Entertainment. Many viewers expect MEOVV to continue the success of its seniors.
