In the early days of the Binh Ngo spring, the program "What I want to say" brought a warm story between singer Tuyet Mai and her little daughter JoJo (9 years old). Appearing in front of MC Oc Thanh Van and Master of Psychology Nguyen Hai Uyen, JoJo created a good impression with her cleverness, bright eyes and radiant smile. The little girl carried the microphone as a "souvenir" associated with her singing hobby and also her mother's job.
Music came to JoJo naturally. At the age of 3, she followed her mother to the recording studio. The first song JoJo recorded was "A Whole New World". Although she was still young at that time, not knowing all the lyrics, JoJo still sang fluently, up to the right tone and felt the rhythm well. Singer Tuyet Mai said that letting her son record and film MVs at that time was mainly to preserve memories, not to put too much emphasis on achievements or orientation too early.
Currently, JoJo lives with her mother, younger brother, grandparents and aunt in Vietnam; while her father works in Malaysia, so the family finds it difficult to reunite often, she only meets her father in the summer. The female singer said that she always considers her daughter as a "companion". Every time she goes to perform, she often takes JoJo with her so that she can take photos and videos for her mother. At home, the two mothers and sons "change roles", and the mother becomes a "photographer" for her.
According to singer Tuyet Mai, taking her child along is not only to be close to her child but also to let JoJo understand that art work has both sweat and pressure, life is not always rosy.
In the program, JoJo also spoke out his sadness for the first time: I once drew a very beautiful picture but my younger brother accidentally ruined it, making me feel that my mother sometimes sided with my younger brother more.
To answer her daughter, singer Tuyet Mai calmly recalled old memories. JoJo was also many times more mischievous than her younger brother, once being punished by facing the wall for displaying clothes everywhere. She advised her daughter that instead of being sad about her younger brother, she should hug and understand her younger brother better.
JoJo also hopes his mother will work far away less because she is worried about something bad happening. Tuyet Mai explained the nature of the job, and at the same time "reverseed" the question: "JoJo dreams of going around the world, are you worried? When I nodded, the female singer said: If you prevent me because of worry, I won't be able to see the world - and so will my job.
