The movie "Huyen Tinh Da Trach" by Hanoi Radio and Television Station (Hanoi Radio, now Hanoi Newspaper and Radio and Television Agency) officially premiered to the Capital's audience.
Inspired by the legend of Chu Dong Tu - one of the "four immortals" of Vietnamese culture and consciousness, the movie "Huyen Tinh Da Trach" recounts one of the most beautiful love stories in the treasure of Vietnamese folk culture - the love story of Princess Tien Dung and poor young man Chu Dong Tu.
The film will be officially released on Valentine's Day and before the Lunar New Year, the film takes viewers to explore the origins of Dragon children and Fairy grandchildren, and learn about one of the most brilliant cultures in the nation's history - Dong Son culture.

Following Chu Dong Tu and Tien Dung, audiences will understand more about the primitive times of the ancient Vietnamese community, about the work of creating and protecting the living and developing space of the people of the Northern Delta, thereby sending the aspiration for prosperity of grandparents and ancestors.
In the film, love is both a destination and the origin of a cultural foundation and a sustainable community. A love with Vietnamese spirit: Humane, tolerant and towards the future.
Mr. Nguyen Kim Khiem - Deputy Director of Hanoi Newspaper and Radio and Television Agency, producer and co-director of the film, assessed that "Huyen Tinh Da Trach" is not just a feature film, but a cultural - creative project, contributing to spreading national identity values in the contemporary context.
Prof. Dr. Sc. People's Teacher Vu Minh Giang - Chairman of the Science & Training Council, Vietnam National University, Hanoi; Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Historical Science Association; Member of the National Cultural Heritage Council - shared that the film's release is not only the result of a purely artistic activity but also has a positive meaning in spreading history to the public, especially young people.

According to Professor Vu Minh Giang, "Huyen Tinh Da Trach" is one of the encouraging efforts. Hopefully in the future there will be more such films, especially in the context of Vietnam developing a cultural industry.
In the exchange with the audience and the press, the cast participating in the film shared about facing great pressure when portraying legendary characters in the film.
People's Artist Trong Trinh said that he has put a lot of effort into learning to build the image of King Hung in a way that is both heroic and close. The actor also expressed that young people still pay attention to cultural and historical stories and that is a lucky thing for the country's cinema.
Transforming into the role of Tien Dung is Thanh Tam - a 3rd year student of Hanoi University of Theater and Cinema. In Thanh Tam's mind, Princess Tien Dung is a symbol of female freedom, although soft but with a strong inner self.

More than 100 minutes of the movie "Huyen Tinh Da Trach", audiences can admire the beautiful shape of Dong Son culture appearing on screen for the first time. The film is set in many locations with unique landscape - cultural values such as: Chu Xa (Gia Lam - Hanoi), Da Trach (Khoai Chau - Hung Yen), Van Lang Capital (Vietnamese Ethnic Culture Village), Kim Boi (Hoa Binh)..., creating a majestic and unique cinematic space.
Filmmakers have carefully studied the restoration of pre-Dong Son and Dong Son cultural elements such as tattooing customs, dyeing black teeth, mother worship beliefs, and bronze drum casting techniques, pottery making...
Mr. Nguyen Kim Khiem added that "Huyen Tinh Da Trach" being screened during Tet has a lot of meaning and does not set commercial goals, but wants to bring the public an inspiring story about love, filial piety and images of a glorious period in Vietnamese history.
In the atmosphere of reunion of the traditional Lunar New Year, in addition to its entertainment nature, the film also evokes memories of proud history and traditions. A film with images and emotional levels to make us even more proud of Vietnamese roots.
