The showcase of the movie "Chien Nam: Ve Sau Thach Xac" was organized by the Literary and Art Times in collaboration with Kunva Film Studio and Mockingbird media unit in Hanoi.
The event marks an important milestone in the 10-year journey of persistently pursuing the unique martial arts film genre of the production crew, as well as the unremitting efforts of Production Director Dang Bao Tran and producers Nguyen Dang Ngoc, Phan Anh Thu in bringing "Chien Nam" to theaters for 10 years.
This is also the first time the film crew has announced the concept of "Masiness" (a combination of Mafia and Business) - a hybrid crime, disguised as a legal economic group (Thai Minh Legend) to manipulate society.
Directors Tran Hoa Binh and Tran Thanh Da directly decode the context of "Ghost Land", spiritual tactics in real estate acquisition and the degeneration of a part of the intellectual community under the influence of money.
The film does not only stop at condemning evil. Through the image of Chien Nam and his comrades, the work offers a cultural solution that takes loyalty, ingenuity and ethics as the foundation.
Ms. Dang Bao Tran - Film production director added that the philosophy of "Ve Sau Thach Xac" is deployed throughout the film as a metaphor for human maturity and transformation.
The most valuable highlight in the work is the clash between the character Chien Nam (played by Longka) and the Gray Wolf (played by martial arts monument Nguyen Tran Duy Nhat). This is a fiery intersection between two opposing martial arts ideologies.
Speaking about practicing to perform scenes, actor Longka shared that, "Votado martial arts not only learns about moves, but also learns about the silence in the soul. To express the philosophy of Qi - Sue - Than, I spent many years practicing, learning to create Votado so that each movement exudes the unique aura of the sect".
And player Nguyen Tran Duy Nhat said: "I am very excited to bring Muay Thai to face a martial art that is rich in philosophy like Votado. The collisions in the film are completely real, I believe the audience will feel the heat, pain and ferocity in each frame".
