After a journey of conquering male championships, Vu Linh returned to Vietnam, busy with art projects. He was invited to be a model for many fashion events, and also participated in beauty pageants.
The runner-up of the 2022 International Mister Grand International competition plans to improve his knowledge, especially his English skills, after a period of competition in international arenas.
Runner-up Vu Linh said that improving English proficiency is not only for professional activities, but also a long-term and in-depth self-improvement journey.
The male model affirmed that the decision to go to school at this time is not based on trends or a defensive addition. On the contrary, this is a strategic decision for the long journey ahead, especially in his career journey.
Vu Linh said that after experiencing international playgrounds, he realized that foreign languages are an important tool for integration. When he can communicate in English proactively, the male model believes that he not only conveys his thoughts, personality and values, but can also better represent the image of Vietnamese people in international projects and activities.
Therefore, I chose to learn English at this time, when I am mature enough to understand what I study for and where I need to reach. I believe that when I am more confident in my foreign language skills, I will be able to do more for myself and the community," the runner-up said.
Going to school in his 30s is considered a challenge for Vu Linh, as he has to balance work and schedule to ensure effective study. According to him, the beginning will be a difficult problem, but the male model believes that when he has determination, he will definitely be able to do it.
Learning knowledge at the age of over 30, for me, has a very different meaning. This is no longer studying for grades or pressure, but studying to improve myself. At this stage, I study with more self-awareness, discipline and responsibility, knowing how to select knowledge suitable for the path I am taking. Each study hour is not only about absorbing a new skill, but also how Linh trains thinking, bravery and adaptability in a world that changes very quickly," runner-up Vu Linh said.
Vu Linh also believes that no age is too late to start studying, it's just whether you are serious enough about your dreams or not. And for the male model, continuing to study at the age of over 30 is a commitment to himself that he will always move forward, constantly improve his ability to be worthy of greater opportunities in the future.
I believe that English is the key to opening the door to new opportunities. With unwavering determination and the support of the lecturers, I believe I will achieve my goal and continue to shine on the road ahead," Vu Linh affirmed.
