In the team selection round of the "Miss Vietnamese Student 2024" contest, the mentors and host Ha Anh challenged the contestants based on their talents listed in their profiles. One of the most notable contestants was Duong Tra Giang, who was asked by the mentor to demonstrate her acting ability.
In the acting part, mentors Le Hoang Phuong and Duong Tra Giang played mother and daughter. The "Miss Vietnamese Student" contestant demonstrated a situation of convincing her mother to let her go out. The interaction and dialogue between Le Hoang Phuong and the contestant from Hanoi received many positive comments.
After the performance, Duong Tra Giang shared that mentor Le Hoang Phuong asked her to demonstrate her acting ability based on her profile. Duong Tra Giang said that she wanted to try her hand at the film industry because she had participated in many short films at the school club.
“I think the challenge helps me introduce my personality and abilities to the mentors. The acting also helps Ms. Ha Anh see the natural connection between me and Ms. Le Hoang Phuong. From there, she also realized that I am suitable for Ms. Hoang Phuong's team" - contestant Tra Giang said.
Tra Giang said she was surprised when she was challenged to act. Because before that, she was the contestant who received the golden ticket from the online semi-final round, having the right to choose a mentor. However, Tra Giang still adapted quickly and demonstrated her acting ability.
“This was a challenge assigned to me, so even though it was risky, I still wanted to try. The contest emphasizes youthfulness, dynamism and honors original beauty. At that time, I acted instinctively, keeping my personal color so that the mentors and host Ha Anh could understand me better,” said Tra Giang.
Duong Tra Giang was born in 2005 in Hanoi. She is a student majoring in Marketing and Communication at the School of Business Administration - Hanoi National University.
In the preliminary round, Duong Tra Giang was highly appreciated by the judges and organizers for bringing the image of a girl who loves national costumes.
MC - Miss Ngoc Han commented that Duong Tra Giang is suitable to be an MC when she demonstrated her ability to host a program and promote national costumes in the preliminary round.
In the Online Semi-final round, Duong Tra Giang won the golden ticket and was specially entered into the Top 36. The organizers commented that Tra Giang was meticulous, invested and dedicated in each round.

After going through the reality TV rounds, the final round of “Miss Student Vietnam 2024” will take place on December 15 in Ha Long city, Quang Ninh.
