Honey, lemon and ginger
Honey has anti-inflammatory, antibacterial properties that help fight bacteria and relieve sore throats.
You can drink a spoonful of pure honey or try making honey tea with lemon and fresh ginger. Vitamin C from lemons and anti-inflammatory properties from ginger can help boost the immune system.
Stir 2 teaspoons of honey, 1 teaspoon of freshly grated ginger and the juice of half a lemon in 350 - 450 ml of hot water. Leave the mixture on for 5-10 minutes, then enjoy.
Electricity to relieve lemon honey
When you experience symptoms such as fever, vomiting or diarrhea, electrolyte drinks will supplement minerals such as sodium, potassium and sugar to help rehydrate. Add 1 tablespoon lemon juice, 1 teaspoon honey and a pinch of salt to 2 cups of water. Then, stir well to blend and drink.
Warm spice tea
When you have a cold, make tea with warm spices such as cinnamon, cardamom, cloves and black pepper to help you feel warmer and more comfortable.
Use a spice blender or use a mortar and plow to crush 2 whole cinnamon sticks, 2-3 nutmegs and 1-2 cloves. Add 8 teaspoons of black pepper to the mixture with 3 cups of water. Boil the drink for 20 minutes and drink this tea 3 times a day.
