AstraZeneca accompanies lung cancer patients in the "Pneumonia" campaign

AstraZeneca and the Bright Tomorrow Fund organize a "Pneumonia Thuong" activity for lung cancer patients at K Hospital.

On the occasion of the Month of Raising awareness of Lung Cancer, AstraZeneca Vietnam in collaboration with the Bright Tomorrow Fund organized a special activity of the "Pneumonia" Club at K Hospital, Tan Trieu facility, with nearly 100 patients attending in person. The program was also broadcast online.

The activity focuses on three main goals: listening, empathy and empowering patients; instructing on breathing yoga exercises to help restore lung function and improve quality of life; at the same time, strengthening the community, spreading the message of proactive living - understanding yourself - sharing and connecting.

Phy lung is a 5-year campaign initiative of the Bright Tomorrow Fund, funded by AstraZeneca and implemented in many major hospitals. Thanks to advances in bi imprint testing (EGFR, PD-L1) along with targeted and immunotherapy, early detection helps patients live longer and better, while emphasizing the importance of screening and accurate diagnosis in the fight against lung cancer in Vietnam.
