FV Hospital HCMC launches FV da Vinci Robot Surgery Center, helping patients access high-precision, minimally invasive surgical methods.

The da Vinci system is currently considered the world's advanced robot surgery platform, with more than 10,670 systems operating in hospitals worldwide and nearly 17 million surgeries performed.

In Vietnam, robot surgery has been deployed since 2014 with the da Vinci Si generation, bringing more flexible and accurate operations for complex surgeries.

According to Dr. Jean-Marcel Guillon - General Director of FV Hospital: "Robot surgery is reshaping the future of surgery. Investing in the da Vinci Xi system and establishing the FV da Vinci Robot Surgery Center is a strategic step to help FV bring advanced treatment technologies in the world closer to patients in Vietnam.

Dr. Dang Dinh Minh Thanh - Head of FV da Vinci Robot Surgery Center said that Da Vinci Robot Xi operates with very high accuracy thanks to a high-resolution 3D image system, allowing to magnify the anatomical structure many times compared to conventional endoscopy. In some less complex cases, patients can be discharged from the hospital after only about 24 hours.
