On September 13, Nam Dong Ward, Hai Phong City organized a meeting, discussion and mobilization to establish the "Nam Dong Ambulance" Club. The ceremony was attended and directed by Mr. Nguyen Viet Dung - Party Secretary, Chairman of the Ward People's Council.
Also attending were the Standing Committee of the People's Council, leaders of the Ward People's Committee, heads of departments, professional offices, and delegates who are doctors, nurses, pharmacists, retired doctors, representatives of private clinical facilities and drug stores in the area.
The "Nam Dong Ambulance" Club is a new model, mobilizing the participation of retired doctors and nurses and private medical facilities to improve the quality of primary health care for the people.
At the same time, the Club will disseminate knowledge on disease prevention and treatment and implement grassroots health activities in residential groups, contributing to raising public awareness of health care.
With this model, Nam Dong ward hopes to create a grassroots health network that connects the community, exploits the experience of a team of qualified doctors and nurses, and mobilizes private resources, aiming for comprehensive and effective health care right in the residential area.
