On April 4, the Central Highlands General Hospital informed that the unit had just successfully treated a 6-year-old boy who was once suffering from many foreign objects in the airway. The patient is Y.S.N (born in 2019, residing in Yang Mao commune, Krong Bong district, Dak Lak province).
On February 2, the hospital received a child in shortness of breath with many symptoms. According to the patient's family members, 1 month ago, at home, children showed signs of prolonged cough, treatment of many places did not help. More and more symptoms of coughing, shortness of breath increases, especially at night so the family takes the child to be hospitalized.
The doctors discovered a transparent small LED light in the finance of the right subcutaneous bronchium. After identifying the foreign object, the doctors quickly successfully removed the foreign object.
However, after removing the LED light foreign object, the doctors monitored and discovered that the child's symptoms did not completely subside.
On the afternoon of April 3, doctors continued to conduct an endoscopy of the rear nasal pass and successfully removed the foreign object, a lead- thinking abscess, which was unknown for how long.
After 2 removals of the foreign object, the patient is still being monitored at the hospital.
