On the afternoon of April 3, the 2025 National Judo Championship officially ended after 5 days of fierce competition in Cao Lanh City (Dong Thap).
With more than 380 athletes from 21 units across the country competing, winning 24 sets of medals in 2 kata and competition events, the Judo team Ba Ria - Vung Tau has excellently won 3 Gold medals, 2 Silver medals, 5 Bronze medals. Thereby ranking 3rd in the overall group.
In which, the Gold medal of the Ba Ria - Vung Tau team includes Nguyen Thanh Luan - Ta Duc Huy in the Kime No Kata men's team event; Vo Thi Phuong Quynh in the women's under 78kg weight class; Tran Thanh Hien in the men's under 100kg weight class.
Meanwhile, Ho Chi Minh City firmly defended the overall championship with 8 Gold medals, 1 Silver medal and 4 Bronze medals. The runner-up is the Army team with 3 Gold medals, 9 Silver medals and 10 Bronze medals.
