The festival was attended by representatives of provincial departments, branches, and sectors, leaders of District Party Committees, District People's Committees, farmers, cooperatives, and agricultural product production and processing enterprises in the district.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Phan Thanh Dung - Vice Chairman of Chau Thanh District People's Committee emphasized the important role of agriculture in the socio -economic development of the district; At the same time, the Agricultural Festival is an opportunity for communes to introduce potentials, strengths, promote agricultural products and OCOP products to consumers, businesses and investors; create conditions for connecting consumption for farmers, clearing bottlenecks, creating new motivation for the district socio -economic.
Within the framework of the festival, there are 50 booths displaying agricultural products, OCOP products and many exciting activities such as: displaying and introducing unique and strange agricultural products; exhibition of images of the district's socio-economic development.
According to Mr. Dung, the festival also includes a workshop on trade promotion, connecting supply and demand between manufacturers and consumer enterprises. The festival atmosphere is more bustling with special art programs, competitions imbued with local cultural identity...
"Chau Thanh Agricultural Festival 2025 is not only an important trade promotion event but also a place for exchange, learning, and strengthening solidarity among agricultural workers. The event is expected to take place until April 28," Mr. Dung added.
