AEON accelerates expansion, aims to trip the scale by 2030

AEON identifies Vietnam as a key strategic market alongside Japan, leading the growth rate of the system in the region. Revenue in 2024 increased by 120% over the same period, holding the highest position outside of Japan. During the year, AEON opened 3 shopping malls (TTMS) and comprehensive - supermarket (TT BHTH & ST), bringing the total from 6 to 9, many units in the group leading the Group's revenue.

The goal by 2030 is to trip AEON's current scale, focusing on 3 focuses: expanding in both directions, building an " AEON Ecosystem", promoting community initiatives and sustainable development.

In 2025, the development plan includes 4 TTMS and TT BHTH & ST, notably TTMS AEON Tan An - the first center in the Mekong Delta, expected to open in September. In addition, AEON will open 3 more health insurance & ST stores in real estate partner projects (2 in the North, 1 in the South), at least 10 AEON MaxValu supermarkets and many specialized stores, while promoting AEON Eshop to deliver goods nationwide.

In parallel with developing the network, AEON focuses on perfecting a closed supply chain from research, product development to distribution, ensuring quality, stabilizing supply and reasonable prices, thereby consolidating its pioneering position in modern retail in Vietnam.
