Participating in the 4th International Exhibition Program of Food and Food in Ho Chi Minh City in 2025, Hoang Giang Seafood Company wishes to penetrate more deeply into the domestic market.
The main product of the company is large black tiger shrimp from 4-10 shrimp/kg exported to the Middle East, China. However, the export market is facing difficulties, so the company is gradually moving itself to adapt.
"We participate in fairs, exhibitions and associations to expand the market. We expect the domestic market to increase by 20%," said Mr. Tran Truong Giang, Director of Hoang Giang Seafood Company.

This is a practical activity to support businesses, contributing to promoting the dynamic development of the city's food and food processing industry, introducing high quality products, reputable businesses, and promoting business cooperation opportunities, effectively attracting investment resources.

Ms. Tran Thi Dieu Thuy - Vice Chairman of Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee - said that the food and food industry is one of the four key industries that are prioritized for the city's development. In recent years, Ho Chi Minh City has been implementing many policies and strategies to promote food and food processing industry, typically the issuance of Decision No. 4700/QD-UBND dated October 23, 2024, approving the strategy of developing food and food processing industry in Ho Chi Minh City until 2030, with a vision to 2050.
In the first quarter of 2025, Ho Chi Minh City economy continued to recover strongly with the gross product in the area (GRDP) increased by more than 7.5% over the same period - the highest increase since 2020. The total retail of goods and consumer service revenue is estimated at about VND 316,600 billion, up 14.2%, reflecting a strong increase in purchasing power and domestic consumption needs.
However, import and export activities of Ho Chi Minh City still face many challenges due to the world economic context, which has many fluctuations, greatly affecting Vietnam.
