The Department of Health of Hai Duong province has just issued a document directing the Department of Food Safety and Hygiene; Department of Health of districts, towns and cities; Medical Centers of districts, towns and cities to strengthen food safety assurance in the "Fod Safety Action Month" in 2025.
The Department of Health of Hai Duong province requires units to closely coordinate with the interdisciplinary inspection team of the province and district, focusing on inspections at ready-made food processing facilities, collective kitchens in industrial parks, schools, food service establishments, street food, bottled and bottled drinking water establishments... according to management functions.
In particular, it is necessary to focus on monitoring and providing appropriate guidance for mobile cooking services, collective meals such as festivals, weddings, and crowded death anniversaries. Resolutely handle and suspend operations of establishments that do not ensure food safety conditions, establishments without a Certificate of food safety eligibility (under the mandatory licensing requirement).
During the inspection, if you discover the act of trading and using fake food, you need to promptly coordinate with functional forces such as Market Management, Hai Duong Provincial Police to handle and recall it according to regulations.
In parallel with inspection activities, units need to step up propaganda and dissemination of legal regulations on food safety in key areas, spiritual tourist areas, industrial parks, schools, food service establishments for workers, students, etc. to raise awareness of food poisoning prevention and control.
Units need to proactively develop and prepare plans, forces, means, materials, chemicals, etc. to promptly respond, provide emergency care, investigate and overcome food safety incidents.
