According to the Department of Health of Hai Duong province, from April 21 to 28, two interdisciplinary inspection teams conducted surprise inspections of drug, milk and functional foods production and trading establishments in the province. The inspection was attended by representatives of the Department of Health, the Provincial Police and the Market Management Department of Hai Duong province.
Team No. 1 focused on inspecting 7 health food manufacturing enterprises; Team No. 2 inspected stores selling drugs, milk and functional foods.
Through on-site inspection and data on the management software of the facilities, the inspection team has not detected fake drug products, drugs banned from circulation or functional foods, fake milk according to the warning announcement of the Ministry of Health.
However, the delegation noted that there are still some limitations at some business establishments. There was a phenomenon of some units closing when groups came to work or showing signs of hiding goods. Some establishments have not fully presented invoices and documents proving the origin of the goods.
The inspection team took 33 product samples to check the quality. When the test results are available, the team will continue to work and strictly handle violations (if any), contributing to tightening management in the field of drug, milk and functional foods business in Hai Duong province.
