On January 14, in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam - Singapore Industrial Park Joint Venture Company Limited (VSIP for short) and Siemens Vietnam officially announced a strategic cooperation agreement to develop modern, efficient and sustainable data centers nationwide, meeting the increasing needs of Vietnam's digital economy.
According to VSIP, Siemens has global experience and a comprehensive technology ecosystem, VSIP has an integrated industrial-urban infrastructure platform. This cooperation between the two sides aims to attract new generation data center investment capital, while contributing to promoting digital transformation, improving infrastructure capacity and sustainable growth.
Mr. Nguyen Phu Thinh - General Director of VSIP JV emphasized: "The strategic alliance with Siemens in developing data centers is an important step forward in the goal of attracting high-tech projects and building a digital ecosystem in VSIP industrial parks. With Siemens' experience and solutions in key infrastructure, VSIP is more ready to provide investors not only with space and infrastructure, but also with a reliable, efficient and well-prepared data center operating environment.
It is known that the two businesses have cooperated to bring the Siemens Busway Factory in VSIP Binh Duong into operation since 2006.
