This is the second consecutive year that this ranking has been published, reflecting the increasingly important role of the region in the global supply chain.
Seven countries including Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam, the Philippines and Cambodia continue to participate. Indonesia leads with 109 enterprises, followed by Thailand (100), Malaysia (92), Singapore (81). Vietnam recorded growth when 76 enterprises were named, an increase compared to 70 enterprises last year.
PetroVietnam appeared for the first time and immediately held the 11th place in the total table, while leading Vietnamese enterprises in revenue. Vietcombank also made its mark when it entered the top 20 most profitable enterprises and ranked 19th in market capitalization.
Tasco JSC and Viet Phat stand out among the fastest growing enterprises in the region with impressive revenue increases, respectively 162% and 144%. In particular, the 20 Vietnamese enterprises with the highest revenue generated a total revenue of 110.2 billion USD, accounting for 68% of the total revenue of all 76 Vietnamese enterprises in the rankings.
