On the morning of October 1, through patrolling and controlling, the Traffic Police of Can Giuoc District (Long An Province) discovered more than 30 cases of students in the district who were underage and unqualified but driving vehicles over 50 cm3. The police drew up a record for administrative handling and temporarily detained the vehicles.
The Traffic Police will send a notice of violation to the school for educational measures. In addition to handling violations, the District Traffic Police also propagate and remind students to obey the law when participating in traffic.

Every year, Can Giuoc District Police regularly coordinate with schools in the district to organize propaganda and dissemination of traffic safety laws to students and teachers. Disseminate basic contents of the Road Traffic Law, such as: People aged 16 and over are allowed to drive motorbikes with a cylinder capacity of less than 50 cm3; People aged 18 and over are allowed to drive two-wheeled motorbikes and three-wheeled motorbikes with a cylinder capacity of 50 cm3 or more (with a driving license); People aged 14 to under 16 are not allowed to drive motorbikes or motorbikes (including electric motorbikes)...
Thereby, 100% of parents and students signed a commitment to comply with traffic laws with specific commitments such as: voluntarily complying with the Road Traffic Law; not giving or leaving vehicles to children who are not old enough to participate in traffic; not driving after consuming alcohol... to ensure safety for students and prevent traffic accidents.
However, in recent times, there have been cases of students violating the Road Traffic Law such as riding electric bicycles and motorbikes without wearing helmets; speeding and recklessly overtaking while not qualified to use motorbikes over 50 cm3. Such behavior poses many potential risks to traffic safety for students and road users.
To prevent and reduce the above situation, Can Giuoc District Police have coordinated with schools to propagate and disseminate the message “Human life is above all” to students. In particular, they focus on propagating and instructing traffic skills. At the same time, the police also resolutely strictly handle students who violate the Road Traffic Law.
